Originally a native of Rockingham County, Allison moved to Summerfield with her amazing family, Bryson (3), Everleigh (1), and husband of 4 years, Bryan. Allison received her B.S. in communication sciences and disorders from Western Carolina University and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from NC Central. She currently works at a skilled nursing center as an SLP and Rehab Director. She fell in love with CrossFit almost 10 years ago as a senior in high school and has not stopped since.
In 2014, Allison was looking for something new to try to get in shape, when a friend recommended she try CrossFit. As someone who had a very limited fitness or athletic background, she was nervous to start a sport that seemed intimidating but decided to give it a shot. After bouncing around gyms during college, she returned to her home gym, met her now husband, and a couple of years later, they co-owned that same gym for the next 5 years. Fast forward, after having her second child, Allison struggled to find the time and motivation to return to the gym. That’s when her husband suggested they try a new gym and CROSSFIT FIREPIT came into the picture. THE FIREPIT community welcomed them with open arms and in 2024, Allison obtained her Crossfit Level 1 trainer.
Since joining CROSSFIT FIREPIT, Allison has had newfound motivation and drive that was starting to fade. The people that you will meet in this community will give you a sense of belonging and motivate you to always better yourself and reach your goals.
